Everyone interested in prolonging the life of their companion animals through good nutrition needs to read Ann Martin's Food Pets Die For. Prior to reading this book, I had been feeding my cats a variety of commercially prepared pet foods from supermarkets, trusting that they were safe and nutritious. I ran across the book at Borders and was horrified by what I read. This is the only book I am aware of that exposes what is really contained in commercially prepared pet food and how the public has been lied to. I had no idea what was actually in my cats' food until I read this book, and I was so shocked, that after reading it, I disposed of all of the dry and canned cat food in my house. I then went online and discovered the Only Natural Pet Store. I have purchased all of my cat food from them for many years and trust them completely. I am a member of several animal rights organizations and I have recommended both the book and Only Natural Pet Store to all of them.
