Hello Fellow Adopted Cats,
I was adopted from the Humane Society by a woman who took pity on me. At 10 years old, I had been there for over a year. One day this lady appeared and whisked me out of there. I am so happy in my new home, but I wish they didn't leave me alone from 6 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Mon - Fri. I've heard the lady talking about how she would love to work from home so that I wouldn't be alone all day, but how her boss probably wouldn't understand her distress.
She thought that getting a companion cat for me might be an option, but I've "been there, done that, got the T-Shirt." To make a long story short, it didn't work out when my last "Mom" brought me home to join other kitties.
So, any advice to ease her mind would be greatly appreciated. She has been thinking about asking her boss if she could work from home, knowing that the answer would be "No." She really loves me, and I hate to see her distressed all the time about my "loneliness."
Regards,
Salty Girl
