I am IT indigent, so, if things aren't quite right, forgive me. I am a first time dog owner. I wanted a dog that was smaller, intelligent, easy to train, and protective. Got a Corgi. Maybe not the best choice for a first time dog owner, but I am learning. Eli will be 5 years old in July. Got him from a breeder in Virginia horse country. He has a few health issues. Dixie is also 5 years old, and she was adopted from the Sunshine Corgi Rescue here in St. Pete, FL.She was heartworm positive at the time. She was treated, and is doing fine. I became interested in natural pet care and feeding after the pet food recall of last year. I realized that the only way to know what you are feeding your best friend is to make his food yourself. I also wanted to try to control Eli's conditions without drugs. After some trial and error, I think things are starting to click. Both the kids seem to have tons of energy, bright eyes, shiny coats. I love ONP products, and the community website. I look forward to gaining new knowledge on how best to care for my little ones.
